Graduate Research Assistant
Research interests include crop specific agricultural mapping, area estimates, production estimates and productivity estimates. Current dissertation focuses on the advancement of methods for estimating cropland area, with a prototype for soybean national estimates in Argentina, Brazil and the United States. Future career pursuits include leading the implementation of national scale resource monitoring programs and sustainable agricultural development with a particular interest in understanding the dynamic and complex relationships surrounding food systems and agricultural resources and related land uses and land cover types.
