Sample reference data The reference data contains links to web pages of each of the 1635 gain sample pixels used to interpret the year of bare ground gain occurred and to attribute the land cover and land use outcomes of bare ground gain regarding the pixel. On top of each page, annual Landsat composites in 5-4-3 band combination present an area of ~9x9 km large (303x303 Landsat pixels) centered at a gain sample pixel from 2000 to 2012. Bottom graph is NDVI 32-day time series of the sample pixel for 1999-2012. A link on top provides to download a kml file that will direct to the location of the sample pixel on Google Earth. Region compositions Regions were made from GADM country-level boundary map based on the World Bank groups.
